Chose Kindness

It's A Big Deal To Be Kind
As you may know, the RES community is participating in 26 Days of Kindness to benefit TEAM MR8. Founded in 2014, the Martin W. Richard Charitable Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation formed by the parents of eight-year-old Martin Richard, who was killed in the bombing at the Boston Marathon in 2013. Many students and staff wore red shirts on Wednesday to express our commitment to kindness.

All You Need Is Love!
We've carried over the focus on kindness by sharing books from our Kindness Library during library lessons. The Kindness Library cart and books were generously donated to our library in 2017 by the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation. One of the objectives of the Foundation is to "educate children on the power of kindness." Find out more about this wonderful foundation by clicking on the link above.

I've shared several of the books this week during library lessons. Reviews for those titles are below. Have you seen any of these come home?
